I’m up to the part where you first encounter The Ravenous, but uhh, I’ll explain. So apparently, there’s multiple sand worms lurking about, and if you get too close they’ll grab you. I was just running away from The Ravenous when I accidentally lured it over 1 of those worms. The worm dragged it into the sand and insta-killed it. I did NOT deserve that win 😅

The same happened to me! I was trying to fight him, stubborn as I am, but he grabbed me to kill me at the ledge... And for some reasons when he game overed me, he also died off screen, and I just won, apparently haha

I suspect it was intended. Any crab that walks over the big X on the floor gets dragged under, I guess that includes the boss lol. There are a few instances in the Bloodborne and Dark Souls games where bosses can be killed in 1 hit under certain circumstances

I think a patch on April 26th changed that, sounds hilarious though. "Fixed an issue where bobbit worms could grab Pagurus. Pagurus can no longer be grabbed by any source." I wonder if even the adaptation you can get was grabbing him?

One tip i would do is during capsize, hit him with duchess claw first, the main putpose of duchess claw is that it increases the damage from attacks after hit

Big tip for people use banana shell I’m not kidding if he eats it, it will take like half to 2/3 of his hp off in one go. Or you can lure him to the bobbit worm in the area to instakill him

So far, these are the ways i've figured out how to kill him: 1. Sand worms (lure him over the X and he'll get suffocated instantly) 2. Make him fall off the edge (using those rocks near the side of the map) 3. Make him eat your banana peel shell when he does the red attack (this does massive damage to him and is probably the intended way as it is also referenced by the npc old guy) 4. Git gud, kid 5. *GUN* I used method 2 (the coconut makes it really easy)

This games definition of adding difficulty to boss fights is just to add instant kill grab moves to majority of them. Every boss is so easy. I’m sure they did it to deter people from killing bosses to early
