Ten years ago, Buddha Gurung moved from Lamjung to Canada. After cooking in four restaurants in Toronto, he's achieved his dream: opening his own restaurant! It's called "Coriander," named after his favorite spice.
But Buddha's not stopping there. He wants to expand to other cities, but he's taking it slow to make sure everything's just right.
In GTA Ontario, many entrepreneurs like Buddha are opening Nepali restaurants nowadays. However, only a few owners are finding real success.
Starting a restaurant might seem simple, but keeping it going is tough. However, Buddha, with his wealth of experience, believes in himself. He's confident that he'll find success in his field

लमजुङका बुद्ध गुरुङ्ग क्यानाडा आएको १० वर्ष भयो। टोरन्टो क्षेत्रका चार रेष्टुरेन्टमा कुकका रुपमा काम गरेका उनै बुद्ध अहिले आफ्नै रेष्टुरेन्ट खोल्न सफल भएका छन्। टोरन्टोस्थित स्कारब्रोको किङस्टन रोडमा अवस्थित छ उनको रेष्टुरेन्ट। जसको नाम हो- कोरिअन्डर (Coriander) अर्थात् धनिया।
धनियाको अङ्ग्रेजी नामबाट रेष्टुरेन्ट सुरु गरेका बुद्ध, यसलाई अरु शहरमा पनि विस्तार गर्ने योजनामा छन्। "तर तत्कालै होइन" उनी भन्छन्, "एउटा गुणस्तरीय पहिचान बनाएपछि मात्रै।"
रेष्टुरेन्ट क्षेत्रमा लामो अनुभव संगालेका बुद्धले आफ्नै रेष्टुरेन्ट खोल्न गरेको मेहेनत तथा यो क्षेत्रमा प्रवेश गर्न चाहनेलाई उनले दिएको सल्लाह भिडियोमा हेर्नुहोस्।
