Hi, Jocelyn! I just wanted you to know that Andrew did a fine job yesterday filling your shoes. Its really fun to see him on his own, because many of the things he said were things you would have said! Its easy to see why you too are a couple! Give your children a hug from me! I just love your videos!

I have more than more than twelve complete place settings of the American Sweetheart monax. I love it and it's pretty tough glass....not one piece is damaged. When I was a young child, my great aunt always gave me a gift to take home when I visited her. She's the one that started my collection, one bowl, plate, cup or sherbet at a time. When I got married I continued to buy pieces at church sales, flea markets and yard sales. Now I have a big set! Thanks Aunt Hazel, miss you!💋❤

5:19 in the foreground, just to the right of your arm, is a blue mug with a white bottom marked "creature cups." I just looked up that brand and FYI those are the mugs with a clay animal in the bottom, like a shark or octopus. They seem to sell for about $15 + shipping.

I have a red one with an alligator in it and no interest in it on eBay. It’s adorable, and Jocelyn could certainly sell it better than I do - but it’s modern and not a super high return.

That “Lady and the Tramp” figurine made the trip worthwhile! I love the monax plate too, although I feel monax glass is undervalued for how beautiful it is. Still, you should be able to double your money on it. You definitely should have bought that “foxy lady” mug. It would make a good set with Andrew’s “awesome” mug!

I won’t say which Goodwill but I’ve heard from several goodwill employees that the company is losing money left right and center because of their exorbitant prices. They are no longer trying to benefit the poor they’re just trying to gather tons of money. And this craze I’ll call it of pricing every individual item is for the birds. If you have a canister set that’s one price not each canister a different price or a pair of candlesticks that’s a pair next thing you know they’ll start pricing socks individually. They’re out of control!

@@adrianahewett9557 yeah I live in Gippsland (vic) and my local Vinnies has got so bad I'm not even sure I'll be reselling for much longer. I could've walked out with a dozen things had they not been priced so high.

I have the same carnival glass pitcher in marigold and I know mine is 45 years old. Mum gave my sister and I one each as a gift with a set of four goblets to match. My sister got the green which is very sought after and much less common than the marigold.

I collected over 200 pieces of that Harvest/Grape and Cable pattern at one point. That is a pretty high price for a blue carnival pitcher. I think mine was around $15. I spent the cash for the green and marigold ones tho. They each were around $30 retail, and when I had to sell it all when we moved, I was able to sell the blue pitcher for $30 and green and marigold for $50 each to a local antique dealer. He took the milk glass dinner service for 12, the milk glass luncheon sets for 12 and the milk glass punch bowl set for really reasonable prices too.

Jocelyn. It might make sense to attach a property of label to the tripod and camera with a sticker and some packing tape over it for protection from the elements. I had a similar issue after taking off a new jacket and placing the jacket in my cart, I was asked (accused) of not including it in the items to buy, I was lucky that there was my business card in one pocket that kind of proved that I had it previously.

That was Franciscan Ware in the Fresh Fruit pattern. It's a pattern I hardly ever see in the wild. I inherited the Desert Rose so I keep an eye out and would integrate these if I could find. There are several patterns in this same style that I have never seen and would think might be worth a bit more than the standard Apple and Desert Rose....although it's gone down some in value recently. I think I have place settings for like 22 and hardly get to use it anymore as the world has changed. Sad.
