Bruh there was a line in the second story about the wife landing on her feet that made me think back to my ex who cheated on me. I kicked her out that night, just a girlfriend, and she herself used that line, saying she hopes she lands on her feet after all this. I said back "From what I've seen, you're more likely to land on your back." but honestly what did she expect after cheating on me with my roommate in my own house. I had no real power to kick him out, so I left on my own after that and he lost the place. I think that was the quickest comeback I've ever had to any single statement.

If this story was real, he would be absoloutely DESTROYED in divorce court for moving the money the way he did and pulling her out of her courses. Some of what he did is borderline (if not actually) criminal and any decent divorce lawyer wohld eat him alive and have him paying out the nose in alimony 😅

Not necessarily true. She wasn’t working. He was supporting them financially so all of the deposits were his. He moved the money before filing any divorce paperwork, so this technically happened before divorce proceedings. And depending on where they live , they could be in an at-fault state, meaning that the wife would get absolutely nothing anyway because the dissolution of marriage happened because of her infidelity

@allieisms But, simultaneously, depending on where they live; logging into her accounts, changing her passwords, and withdrawing her from university without her consent is a crime. Even in places that don't classify it as a crime, taking all of the money from the joint account (whether she was tangibly contributing or not) whilst she is in a foreign country, ensuring she can't access many of her online accounts and then exploiting that the systematically destroy her life will look WAY WORSE in divirce proceedings than her infidelity. If OP's wife has any sense, she'll take all of this to a VICIOUS attorney, and they'll spin a tale about how controlling and insecure he was, how her affair was wrong but she felt trapped in the relationship and will use his actions as "evidence" for the abusive and controlling monster he was during their marriage. Divorce court isn't necessarily based on fact. It's based on the story that you can tell with the evidence you have at hand and, ultimately, he looks AWFUL here.

It depends on if she had evidence that it wasn't her that did it but even then it was probably too late to re-enroll. You aren't supposed to give your account info to anyone and if someone had her passwords then that's her own fault and the school would probably tell her to enroll the next semester/year again. Plus I don't see her going back unless she somehow found a way to pay for it.
