I grew up in North Carolina doing all night carp fishing with my dad and uncles. This is exactly how we fished. Bring some lawn chairs, a radio, and some snacks, then kick back and wait on the fish. One of my uncles usually fell asleep, and the carp would play havoc with his lines, lol. Good times and good memories.

It's actually both peg and swim. Technically a peg is the ground you fish from and the swim is where you fish to in the water

Hi Iain, Course fishing is general fishing ie wet a line and see what you catch rather than target a particular species. Carp fishing is big business here in the UK. Serious Carpers spend thousands buying tackle and other equipment such as chairs, tents etc as well as subscriptions to clubs to fish specific lakes which are stocked exclusively with big carp. They consider other species of fish a nuisance. The three rod setup is allowed depending on the rues of the lake. Again it's more of a carp fishing thing rather than course fishing. Hope this helps.

Oh thanks man. That does shed some light on the various types of fishing that are around. It's funny because many people consider carp a nuisance fish or a trash fish here in Ontario. It's strange how different their views are eh . After looking through some carp stores it's clear how much money can be made with it.

Is there any coarse fishing,I mean rivers,canals,commercial fishing,or is it just carp fishing

Coarse fishing is fishing for anything that isn't considered a "game fish", so basicly anything that isn't a predator like trout, pike etc. Good tip for coarse fishing IRL, always bring a spin fishing setup, when bites on the coarse rod die down there might be a predator around. Just cast into the general area where you had your bait and chances are you'll hook a pike or whatever you have in your area. I reliably catch pike that way.

Oh thanks man. I wonder why they don't call the other stuff 'fine fishing then' We can only fish with one rod in my neck of the woods so it's either coarse fishing or carp fishing

Great video But in regards to the ''british fishing this''. the fishing in this game is lake fishing, or (pond fishing. I live in the UK andam a fisherman/ angler. I fish in the sea as do most of us, we use lures and floats, usually only fish on the bottom when it's night time :) great video dounloading it now as i type.

coarse fishing is cypranids, perch and pike etc trout, charr and salmon are game fishing in the uk

Steam has a F2P fishing game called fishing planet. It's not a bad game, I play it every now and then :)
