Great tips from a great athlete. LVC is the 24-27 of February. So, more like a couple weeks. Also, last info that I read, discs fly differently at sea level (where you are) then they do at 2000 feet (Las Vegas).

First off...Great Video!! Unique format and great editing! Non pro tip! When you were throwing the turnover forehand approach with a putter I noticed something that might help. I throw a Innova birdie on tons of lines like that. Tip: if you move back right foot more left on that approach it makes your mistake to never curl over and roll. Vice versa moving back right foot to your right! Hope it helps. I love throwing forehands that look like a backhand.

Wonderful video and content. Regarding more confidence with the sidearm, watching at about the 4 min mark, your steps start with hips facing the target. Consider starting more sideways, like Sarah H. The release point and angle can best be controlled if you minimize the hips changing from forward to sideways as you are winding up. Imo. Love watching you play. Your BH form is fabulous! Off the charts good.

The forehand flick upshot is one of the few things I am actually comfortable throwing with a forehand. If you haven't tried it before; I like to splay my index finger out toward the center and only use the middle to press on the rim. I feel more comfortable controlling the angle this way at lower speeds.

Question: I'm 63 and have been disc golfing for a little over a year. I ball golfed for about 20. I actually played in a disc golf tournament just after thanksgiving. What I noticed is that everybody on my card (all over 60), after a while started making the same play. The low score person would go first, and then the rest of us would, unconsciously, try to duplicate his throw. Meaning, the low scorer was sort of controlling the play. How does one over come this unconscious play of following the leader. Especially when they make a bad shot and so I would do the same. Also, there seemed to be a lot of mental play going on. Especially on day 2 (2 day tournament) Like when I used to play ball golf and you would say stuff to your mate to try to get them to blow their next shot. How do you train your mental game?
