This song is in Dari, also known as Afghan farsi or Western farsi by linguists, but was never just restricted to what we today know as Afghanistan. It was also spoken by the Dari speaking ethnicities who had migrated and settled in pre-Partition northern India. So in Pakistan today it is spoken by those same communities, wherever Dari speaking people live, mainly in KPK (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) province, but also in Quetta in Balochistan where there is a large Hazara community who are Dari speakers. The Dari speaking people who moved further south to Punjab etc. mostly never retained Dari. They became Punjabi speakers over time. I only know this because my nani's family were Dari speakers from Khost in Afghanistan who settled in Jallandhar, and by 1947 when they left for Lahore they had already been Punjabi speakers for a century or more.

She also was featured in at least two songs if not more in Season 9. She is coming up with new songs till now also especially in OSTs that may be checked. Hi beautiful reaction and chose a classic hit Jyoti. :)This song takes me to my University life when I used to listen to Coke Studio at University. It was so precious time. Zeb had sung many Popular OST of Pakistani dramas and films songs like Ho Mann Jahan, Parey Hutt Love and Superstar. She also sang many CS Hits as well. I love her voice it has a folkish sound.
