This was a rehearsal, after this Abida Parveen was ready for the final take, but this was so perfect that the producers wrapped it right there and then, and carried on with this as it could not have gotten any better.

Rahat is like the official successor from the “Fateh Ali Khan” house following Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s death. Abida on the other hand is regarded as the finest sufi music artist to ever exist and hailed as Queen of sindhi sufi (mystic) music. These both artists are a very big deal.

This song was written By Amir Khusro indo Persian poet for his Spirtulal Leader Hazarat nizammuddin Auliya. & this singer's are awesome.💚❤💙 they make this song as a Masterpiece.

The Human voice can be trained to sound like a musical instrument in Indian Classical music. Thus the Singers always start and then are accompanied by the varied Instruments. So they lead and the musicians follow. Words are repetitive because the Singers are actually " making" the music. words don't matter. Eventhough Here they are singing a devotional Ballad written some 800 years ago by Amir Khushro (called the Parrot of Hind) in Braj Bhasa ( Language). akin to Hindi.

That is basically (the runs) and typically Indian classical music of the subcontinent.

You need to understand the classical music first. They r both classically trained and very well trained. If you follow Nusrat fateh ali khan ,Rahat was trained by him.since his child hood,he has been performing with Nusrat. Similarly Abida parveen too. You need to go back some years ,if you really want know about their singing.
