Hi, As per my understanding: CAMT.029 is the "Resolution of Investigation". This means the Creditor gives a "debit authorization response" (CAMT.036) to the Creditor Agent to debit the actual amount (positively). From the Creditor Agent, it converts into CAMT.029 as a positive response and sends to the Debtor Agent. But I don't think It's a negative response to recall. Thanks,

Thanks for good presentation, what is the unique identifier using by banks , supposingly PAIN008 having invoice info in remmitance tag, then in Pain 002 it will come in same tag?

Why you said that pain 001 is sent only in case of rejection. The Implementation, I work for follows SCT and pain 002 is sent for both positive/negative scenario...

According to the SEPA implementations Guidelines, the pain.002 should be sent only in case of rejection. Nothing is said about the case where all goes well. That is what I am trying to say. So if you send the pain.002 also for positive scenario, you go beyond the SEPA IG. it is one other proof that the SEPA documents do not address all the needs. And we have to be careful when we read those documents. :-)

I think on slide 3, the message exchanged within interbank space should be the pacs.002(Reject) message not the pain.002. Am I right?

What is the difference between an instruction rejected and a transaction rejected?

Hi, an instruction or order can contain many transactions. When you reject the intruction, you reject all the transactions that are inside the instruction. But you may reject only one or many transactions in an instruction and not the whole instruction.

How we can relate tags used in MT messages to pain. 001

Very easy. I will take few examples. The Original Message Identification of the pain.002 is the Message Identification of the pain.001. The Original Instruction Identification of the pain.002 is the Instruction Identification of the pain.001. The Original End To End Identification of the pain.002 is the End To End Identification of the pain.001. And so on. Read the specifications of Pain.001 and Pain.002 carefully and you will find that out. I need to provide more information. The MT101 is equivalent to the Pain.001. Just compare the specifications and you will relate the tags. However, the pain.001 is very rich and contain much more information than the MT101. I hope this helps.
