Great explanation and clear neuro anatomy, however I think it is important to point out there is no such thing as a 'Pain Signal'. Pain is an output of the brain based on lots of different inputs. There are nociceptive signals rather than pain signals. Pain is then expressed by the brain if there is perception of danger/damage. See Lorimer Moseley explanations. Thanks for the video, I found it helpful.

NOOoo 3.13: Pain travels up the LATERAL spinal thalamic tract!! Never known you guys to be inaccurate, the petite muscley guy with the gratingly opimistic accent, and the other smarter dude (who I still would) have got me into 4th yr physio so I'm an admirer of your work!!.. Please change this or put a note on this one- pain and temperature go up the lateral spinothalamic tract! the LATERAL spinothalamic tract!!!!!

Thanks for your clarification! , faster propagating fibers that carry tactile information are stimulated, then the smaller diameter myelinated and unmyelinated pain fibers are blocked from being transmitted at the spinal cord neurons is that an example of rubbing knee?
