I first heard this song almost 15 years ago, and the section that starts at 10:09 is still one of my favorite sections of vocal harmony in any song I've ever heard. Just wow!

To you who haven’t seen PoS live yet, please do. Easily the best live band I’ve seen. The energy they give, and take, is something else.

Same here... there was a time when I was about 19, if you had asked me what my absolute favorite song was, I would have named this. Granted, 13 years and many songs later, I don't know if I have a consistent number one song, but this is still up there on my list of all time favs that I keep coming back to over and over. The Perfect Element and Remedy Lane are both, to me, masterpiece albums, and both end with absolutely incredible songs.

А зачастую так всегда бывает, когда live-версия существенно разнится со студийной в кратно превосходящую её [студийную] сторону. И это прекрасно, когда группы так умеют, ибо это несомненный факт профессионализма и колоссального таланта музыкантов.

You people realise that the voice is the most fragile instrument there is? Especially touring can be brutal on your voice. You have good nights, you have bad nights. Ragnar is a great talent and very young, but he as well won't be able to sing the way he does forever. But just go on pointing out obvious mishaps of great arists on YT if that makes you happy.
@chrisvanloenen14064 жыл бұрын
Still think that the whole ordeal in the hospital still affects his voice. Age is of course a factor, but he sounded way better and more powerful in 2014 than in 2015-2017. Perhaps started touring again too soon with his voice not fully recoverd yet? (reminds me of another prog singer, you all know who =p). I guess he noticed this too, seeing his vocals lines on the ITPLOD record are less about all the crazy high notes and raw screams when compared to previous records. And yeah Ragnar is gone, but luckily they still have two capable backup singers left with Johan and Leo!

We don't know behind the scenes of the video. Voice is so fragile. Not enough sleep/rest, exhausting, dehydration, hot temperature at the stage, 20+ years of touring and pushing your throat out, any chance could break the voice. But his low range still impressive by the way. Love him ❤️

is it just me thinking it's much better if intro part played by Halgren, there would be more magical.

Why? "Falling" is a solo intro written and played by Daniel in the album....
@yoegadiliyanto53904 жыл бұрын
@@SIR0777 nothing wrong with Daniel's solo, i just thinking it would be better if played by Halgren just like Halgren did in Iter Impius live
@Proghead884 жыл бұрын
@@yoegadiliyanto5390 Hallgren did that on Iter Impius live because he also played the studio solo. They usually don't take each other's solo spots and try to keep it assigned as in the studio versions. Also, you could argue that the "Falling" solo is one of the most personal to Daniel. It would be very weird for someone else to play it.
