E i too had. HAD fatugue headaches nausea eye flashes : started 3 months after covid ! Lol. Dans zoom group got me over the hump. All gone in 3-4 months. I think our nervous system or autonomic is why. Our brain triggers it. I still have one remaining: numb feet that morphed into buring up to my thighs. But…….stress worry fear triggers it to a forest fire so i have the evidence. Confidence in our body, that there’s no tissue damage is the key

Thanks Rachel for your inspiring and hopeful story. Thanks Dan. I was told that same thing by so called "experts" at age 40 and am now 78 and still going. Thanks to Dan, my Mindset has changed.♥♥

"If symptoms come back and you don't fall into fear, you are fully recovered because you recovered from the fear." Thanks Dan it was amazing. I hope you will make a video on this sentence you said. I was pain-symptom free for 3 week first time since all started in October. But i had emotinoally diffucut weekend and after that symptoms back. I did not afraid. But i felt disappointment. When you feel fully healty once, it's diffucult to back to feel those things again. But one thing give me power, i did before, i slowly felt better. My symptoms moved around my body, she tried every way to scare me, but I got rid of them one by one. It's mean i can do it again.

@@kusamagaming7375 I have my ups and downs but overall it's getting better. I agree this is a bit of a process. The first time I thought I had failed when the symptoms returned, but then I was relieved to learn from reading and watching that this was normal. Thanks for asking! :)

Wonderful success story and interesting contents, especially about so called experts who don´t know any solutions, quite weird! For several reasons "experts" are most of the time on a one-way path what absolutely never creates a feeling of safety! I think we really should leap out of the expertocracy, doing our own researches and experiments and take over our own responsibility. This is an important part of recovery I decided for myself. Thank you Rachel, thank you Dan! Have a nice day all!❤❤❤

What is the work? I’m a bit lost/ confused by all different approaches. I’ve gained lots of knowledge of tms and done the tests/ identify myself as having it. But now I’m lost what daily work I should be doing. Is it daily journaling? Or the work is simply just calming my brain with safe messages throughout the day etc? Sorry, I seem to find lots of info on the knowledge part and general tips but am lost on what the actual daily work/ routine is supposed to be to recover. Happy to set aside time each day just not sure what to do in that time (often when I ask myself what I’m feeling, 99% of the time it’s either fear/ anxiety or just nothing at all, and I don’t want to get lost in thoughts/ stories). You’re videos are great and very comforting!

Rachel s story is really good & sheds light on how covid was the trigger mechanism for many of us. We (i) love it when we hear our symptom : burning skin! Mine. Legs ankles etc. fear of covid! In many ways it pisses me off but i was the perfect brain to go all in. Encouraging thanks Rachel

This story sooooo resonates with me, having had LC since August of ‘21. Still working on taming the fear and have my ups and downs. But I know absolutely that my symptoms are coming from a hypersensitive nervous system. Have had several things going on lately that have contributed to it being more sensitive. But I persevere and will succeed. Thank you so much, Rachel, for your inspiring story! And thank you Dan-you and your daily videos have helped me so much!

When I found the channel and listened to videos it clicked straight away, as I’ve been paying so much attention to my body that I’ve noticed when I am with ‘safe friends’ my pain disappears and my capacity for activity is almost normal. Because of the challenges I’ve been facing in life and with long covid I have spent a significant time in isolation or with new people I don’t know very well (and therefore my brain has not checked the ‘this person is safe’ box) but on the days where I got to see some long term friends that I feel comfortable with, the pain disappears (especially any PMDD symptoms) and I can do so much more stuff without having a panic attack. I feel warm and fuzzy as my serotonin increases and all is well! The challenge I face is that current life circumstances (they live in different cities and work full time etc) means I don’t get to spend a lot of time with them. Meaning I’m often alone or experiencing symptoms that reinforce my anxiety and desire to stay isolated feeling more symptoms. But finding this channel along with this awareness has made a lot of sense - I like the idea of experiments too! I am planning an experiment next week with a holiday in a nearby air bnb with a friend…just to see!😊

Thank you Dan & Rachel...yes it's resonates Rachel & I am so grateful you shared your journey....and happy to hear your success!! I also mediate daily & find it helps but appreciate it's not for everyone. We all have to find wait feels right for us. Glad you bought up the subject about "hesitation" still being a factor. I know all about this one!! And thank you Dan for saying this is also something you recognise. The comments about overwhelm were also very confirming & reassuring. Much love to you both.💜

This is so great! I also made the decision to stay up and out of the room as an excercise. Granted, when I want to take a nap, I permit that because everybody deserves a nap. But if I don't sleep, I carry through the day because then you have a day! The last touchy thing I wanna say is when I had a flare up, I would give myself a break if my mental health needed it. Every journey is about being kind to yourself while you keep walking. ✨️ ❤

I think any difficult virus can cause a longer recovery than we thought. Then we get scared and drag it out even more. Of course added fear, is never helpful.
@PainFreeYou
@PainFreeYou 6 ай бұрын
What if the virus is no longer involved and it's all fear and subconsciously perceived danger that causes the symptoms to linger? Focus on safety and drop the virus story. You will find that approach helpful.

Yeah great point Dan. The initial cause/stress that put the person into a chronically Ill state can no longer be involved but what’s left is the persons own fight/flight reactions/preoccupations/obsessions with their current state, which is the only thing perpetuating and sustaining the chronic conditions. When the fear of the symptoms is gone, the cats out of the bag and it’s only a matter of time before the chronic symptoms one day just disappear. They can’t exist without your attention on them!

Do you have any stories of TMS that talk about hair loss and how to recover the lost hair from Covid-19?
@PainFreeYou
@PainFreeYou 6 ай бұрын
I have people in my group coaching that have mentioned hair loss and how it has gotten better with the concepts I teach. Stress is the cause. Covid 19 is stressful. Stressing out about hair loss keeps it going. Relaxing and allowing things to return to balance is the way forward. My fast start playlist maps out the recommendations that work for all. Have you read Dr John Sarno book named The Mindbody Prescription? From his work, bulging discs are not necessarily the cause of your pain. (he also had tons of results to prove his claims)
@kylehuisman3574
@kylehuisman3574 6 ай бұрын
Id be sceptical of what you were told about this.. I’m back pain free and have all kinds of fun stuff showing on my mri’s. disc bulges, disc herniations, bone spuring, curvature of the spine, even told me I had an extra vertebrae, through Dr Sarno protocol I realized that these were all “normal abnormalities” and not the cause of the pain. I read his book healing back pain and 20 minutes into it I put it down and went for a run! Life was changed forever. There were ups and downs but I had a lock on healing.

@kylehuisman3574
@kylehuisman3574 6 ай бұрын
@@AashishmJogi numbness, tingling, tightness, and pain.. these can all be mindbody symptoms caused by the brain and not actually mean there is something physically wrong with you. I would try out the ideas than Dan talks about here on his channel , Dr Sarnos work and any other mindbody work that encourages the idea that there’s nothing physically wrong with you. Just try it, if you stop worrying about and fearing the numbness and tingling and start living life again , you may find the numbness just disappears. But trust me this stuff works!
