The fact that these people were only hours from the liberation breaks my heart. Too many innocent lives were lost during the wars, thank you for keeping us from forgetting. Another amazing video, thank you World History team ❤

Thank you for this video. I noticed that you mentioned Kaufering in some of your videos and I am glad that your channel portrays this camp as well. Thousands of people died there, yet not much is to be found about the victims of this conc. camp. And what is sad is that after enduring so much pain and suffering, hundreds of them were burned alive ... those stories make one cry. Thank you

Kaufering existed for less than a year, yet it was another form of hellish torture.

I have so much to say about this video. This is actually one of the most disturbing ones I have seen on this channel. Albert Speer BS’d his way to only 20 years in prison, and then wrote a best selling book🤬. To be marched from one hell to another even deeper hell is unimaginable. To be murdered in such a horrific way, only 30 minutes from being liberated breaks my heart and makes me sick to my stomach. I feel for the US military lawyer who had to provide a defence for that POS. But that’s how actual trials are done. I am so glad to hear that thanks to the “inexperienced” hangman, he did gain experience in how to make sure they suffered to the maximum. Justice served.

These new generation kids today should be forced to watch uncensored films of these attrocities so they can see what horrors and sacrifices men,women and children of previous generations had to go through so they could enjoy the freedoms that they have today. Maybe they'd appreciate it more and stop complaining about every little thing in their priveledged lives.

Reading a history book in school is so sterile. The student merely gets an intellectual image. However, having watched hundreds of videos like this one has given me an education no school book can teach. I have learned what monsters these Germans were. And the word monster does not begin to describe them. No words can accurately convey the diabolical brutality of these people. And the title is inaccurate. "Painful Execution"??? Hardly. They barely suffered. If I was in charge they would all have relived the experiences of their captives. I cannot begin to describe what I would have done. I'll leave it at that.

The industrial mass murder of the Judeans and other minorities along with the millions of Soviet troops and political opponents is akin to the Slave Trade where even the Caribbean sharks changed their feeding habits to account for the bodies thrown from the boats that decimated Africa where colonization resulted in crimes against humanity but were never recorded because of the economic imperative of driving the technological revolution that fueled the pockets of the European nations prior to the formation of its modern borders.
@charleswestbrooks12578 күн бұрын
I don't agree with the images being blurred. Your censorship, especially of this topic, is wrong. People need to see with their own eyes to actually understand the Holocaust. It's not out of respect for the dead. If anything, it's disrespectful because you are covering up, hiding what was done to them.
