The gap was bigger when we got back into the top league and only Gerrard regime closed it and turned it around. I agree it is a big gap though right now, and the LC final could certainly end up a very heavy defeat if Rangers have one of their off days.

From a Celtic fan the gap is a mirage. A club with £60m wage bill has no real advantage over a club with say even a £40m wage bill if the other 10 clubs have between £4m -£15m wage bills. Rangers won the league 3 years ago with free transfers and £1m - £2m signings. Kent was the only big spend. Rangers cannot stop fu**ing up every decision since the orange cup final now 24 years ago. Also Ange and Brendan are fantastic at old firm games. This matters in a league where we play each other 4 times.

This is a more all round team, yes we had standout players like jota and o'riely but this current team is a much more structered and better set up team. Anges team only knew 1 way of playing which was amazing to watch but when that went wrong they never had a back up. This team, come the end of the season will be far superior to the team of anges 2nd season. But it is a game of opinions I suppose so each to their own 👍
