30 min video and 3 mins of actually painting. I've heard painting is 90% preparation and 10% actual painting, so I guess this video confirms that.

You are correct. You'll only be painting a few minutes, the rest is sanding, masking, cutting tape/stencils, priming and doing spray test.

When I watch your videos, I always think you are an artist...I’ve painted my bike after watching your wonderful works: a matte blue color but I’ve used 4colors (white, black, light blue, dark blue) for the logos with a sticker as you do... so satisfied! Than I hydrodipped the stem, cranks and seatpost: every time I go around with my gravel I see many eyes watching my bike...and this only thanks to you!!!!you are a number one👍

Just made my boys watch this video as they're both wanting to strip and paint their own bikes. I did try to tell them the work involved in such undertaking, but were having none of it. They genuinely thought it would be a quick sand and spray, and hey presto awesome paint job... Thankfully your video has made them see sense. Now they're both convinced, that if a jobs worth doing, do it properly and don't cut corners. So thank you for a brilliant educational video, that has definitely inspired them. They would also like to know if you'd be interested in seeing their final results?

no and it stays sensitive to solvents . but you are able to put a 2k clearcoat on top and that wil be durable ( the uv resistance of the monata paint is incredible )

I wanna change the color of my 2022 Specialized Roubaix Comp to something bright, like Honda's Boost Blue, I'm just worried about having to chase orange peel after spraying clear. You did a great job with the rattle cans, but I'm gonna see if you have a video on the types of spray guns and compressor you need to paint something small like a bike frame. In other DIY spray can video you do, you wet sand 800G between clear coats also you have previously used 2k clears over Montana paints. Is 2k clear for acrylic base coats? Or is it only certain ones? Also is the to wet sand between clear coats always needed either DIY OR PRO and why? Also can you make some DIY Videos on spraying custom components eg CRANKS, Stems, seat posts, hubs and fixing bolts for these pieces eg silver bolts to black or eg a black seatpost that is all scratched how to do a blended/ repair/ refurbished paint finish all at the same tim making sure to discuss how to make the end product paint as factory durable for the particular parts as the tend to cop the most abuse when riding! Martin you simply are the greatest KZbinr and the world’s greatest custom painter THANK YOU KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK
