That's very cute, Diane! I've recently done a snowglobe funnily enough, but your idea of printing the circle shape with a bowl is great! We went to our local Christmas Market a few days ago which was awful by the way, but there was a stall selling snow globes,I think they bring out the child in you,I shook them all until the stall holder started glaring at me, they are so beautiful although vastly overpriced at this particular stall, and not a note of Christmas music to be heard,no lights,just eye watering prices,I think if you are going to put on a Christmas Market do it well .Thank you Diane such a pretty painting ☺

That’s a shame isn’t it. Was it a craft market or one of those imported ones? We used to live in Exeter and the first year, about ten years ago now, the Christmas market was in the cathedral grounds and was lovely, full of creativity at reasonable prices. Then they sold the “idea” to a European company, basically gypsies, who travel around Europe organising their own vendors and calling it a local market. Total rip off and very very depressing. I try to pretend the world hasn’t been ruined. I think the year the Christmas paper in Tunbridge Wells was all different shades of black and nothing else was a real forerunner of the world to come. Oh come on Diane, it’s not that bad! Cheer up! All is not lost. Sending you love Annie and hoping you hear the Sally Army outside Woolworths soon!

@@DianeAntoneStudio It must of been an imported one , the most entertaining person was a French WWF gent who was trying to get me signed up for the cause, he kept saying 'JOIN THE REVOLUTION ' in that French way waving his arms around, I thought he was going to leap on me ( I think I would of liked it haha ) anyway I may even join since Dave Attenborough needs all the help he can get. I love the tiny brushes! I picked up a package of them from Temu... but haven't tried them yet. They look fun and useful when you use them, I'll have to give them a try. ❤

Yes, they are handy for detail but I am going to be very sparing in my use of them as it is easy to lose the loose touch you get with a big brush when you start fiddling with details. I preferred the first robin which I dashed off in a hurry to the one I finickied with on camera. But for the light in the eye, perfect. Sending holiday hugs!

If you shake a snow globe the snow will cover the bird for a while so I don't really think you needed to "correct" that. imho
