Paint a watercolor autumn leaf with added gold leafing for shine

In this tutorial you'll get a glimpse of how to paint a watercolor Autumn leaf using the wet-in-wet watercolor technique. Using this technique allows us to capture the texture of the changing colors of the leaf without having to be fussy about it.
We start out with the base wash of a rich, warm, yellow and build on top of that with oranges, reds, and browns. At the end, I am going to show you how to add gold leaf to the painting for some extra zing and sparkle.
This is a super quick and easy painting. I finished mine in an hour and you can too. If painting in a wet-in-wet style is something you have been wanting to learn this is definitely the right project for you to follow along with to improve your watercolor painting skills.
