I LOVE this tutorial of painting a snowman in watercolor! Thank you Matthew Palmer! I have viewed other artists, and not all of them know how to teach. But, thankfully, I have been able to follow along with you, as you explain things well! I think the salt is great to use in creating snow! I somehow managed to get the hat to look like it had a perfect sheen to it. You describe shading very well. Like I said-I am a beginner. I always like to sketch in charcoal and pastels, but, I felt that if I could somehow master watercolor-I would be happy. Right now-I just need to get comfortable with trying to relax, and tell myself it is ok to make mistakes. Part of my problem is that I am known to be a “ perfectionist” and that is not a good thing when it comes to watercolor, right? 😊👍

Merry Christmas Matthew and everyone here brilliant demo as always and I can't wait to be a member of watercolouring TV it's going to be such a exciting journey I learnt encaustic art with Michael bossom his wife Shona and Barry Malton and I believe now it's time to take the watercolouring journey I have all your books CDs usbs to i found them all last night and was watching moonlight in Paris I really learnt a lot I also want to learn how to draw properly I really hope soon you do some videos on you tube your a wonderful kind teacher and you make watercolouring fun as well as so educational you are a inspiration to us all Matthew look forward to learning more with you in the new year can't wait to start
