The joys of a Thursday mornings with Gaynor! I am always so amazed at how you can find such diverse subjects and then throw yourself into them so wholeheartedly. To wit Puffer girl: brilliant colours, really loving the marks, the vitality and energy.... and then, of course, here comes the big swodge of white paint 😮 I am sure everyone can hear me and others shouting "oh no!" Hello Gaynor..perfect video this week and filled with so much inspiration!I was in awe with Puffa girl,I loved the original background colours but I knew there would be more additions and I must say it is only getting better!Abstract painting is great and we can all see something different when looking at a painting so something is born to the individual..if that’s makes sense!🤪😂Made me laugh,when you said you’d move the Cornwall paintings out of harm’s way…hide the brushes lol!!So looking forward to more figure art and Puffa girls travels!!Thank you for sharing!❤

Love the green with red dot ‘figure’ painting. The complementary colors make the dot zing!! Speaking of zing, the red dot that was behind puffer ladies face I thought was brilliant. The contrast that you said you loved with the whiteish puffer jacket diminished when you added the other white, BUT I know you are going to add in some other color or shape over that white you smudged on….I’m so excited to see where it goes! You are so good at spontaneity ❤

Such a fun video today. Loved the “carried away looking at figs” and “makes me think of stripy toothpaste “ comments. Sure sign of a creative artistic mind. I just adore that red floral in the black frame on the wall behind you. I’m also drawn to the original pineapple. I love the soft open colors. I have to admit that I loved the darker abstracted background on puffer girl. I’m always drawn to those darker deeper tones though. The fun of watching other artists works is learning to see and think differently- at least it is for me. Thanks for sharing your creative week with us again. Here’s to another art filled week full of exploring color and shapes.

My sister said, “ what are all these twigs doing here?” Well, I am going to try painting/mark making like Gaynor does! I will get out my palette knife, tubes of paint and go for it! I need to get out several sheets of acrylic paper and do several at one time! Wish me luck!

I like the green one with the figure. Online I also watch the Danish painter who started with water colours but now does loose landscapes I think you would like. I paint all the time but oh what a time I have getting it the way I like Often what we like the general public don't.

I’m a mixed up kid too. Darting around, bit of this and bit of that. It’s a sound painting principle to take something as far as can and if don’t know what to do move on.
