That painting bounces in those settings ~ Backdrop wall colors ~ It doesn't scream 'notice me' ~ But it lights up the individual spaces beautifully! It's 'warm & soothing' with a golden dash of hutzpa! Love It 🤩

Hi Tanya, when you open a tin of paint. Nail a thick nail in the inside grove. Don't leave the nail there, just for a hole. Then the excess paint flows bk in the can.. I really enjoy watching you paint...

What a wonderful paint, question that acrilic paint you used, you can buy it by home depot, the question because I saw you use a quarter and varnish spray , can I do it that or is a especial paint just for canvas, thank you, I wish a lot of blessings and that special art in your hands growing more and more.

Your living room looks beautiful, and I like that you hang up your own art in your home. Where is that you do your painting...your basement?
@tforigo74 Жыл бұрын
Oh my goodness, I’m so sorry I never got back to you. Thank you for all your beautiful comments 🙏 I really appreciate it. Yes, my work space is in the basement. I only have our kids paintings and mine on the walls, I love looking out the kids artwork!! ❤️ and I just buy witch hazel from the drug store and add a few drops to only a few colours. If I use 6 different colours I will only put witch hazel in 2 or 3. Thank you again!! ❤️ I will be painting in the next few weeks.

This is absolutely stunning!!!!! I love finding the "mistake" paints...so fun...though I'm finding less and less of them. May I ask if it looked, I don't know how to explain it, but gritty close up when it dried? I only ask because when I've used house paint I've noticed that it seems to get an odd texture and get a sort of gritty look like broken up bits of cloud, but I'm sure I'm jist doing something wrong. Plus, I have to remember to step back from it too :/ I forget that once I hang it I won't be an inch away inspecting it :/ I have a 48x60 or something ridiculous that I was so excited about for over the couch on such a plain wall....but I've yet to do it. I'm trying to gage how much paint I'd need too. But I loved how you had the extra cups to throw on after, it gave another layer and it jist turned out so beautifully!! I need to find a spot in my tiny house to try it...I want more oceany type colors, but I'm thinking not as bright maybe as I'd originally thought, since it will be so huge, most of the wall, so maybe bright is too much? Maybe toned down ocean? I dunno....another reason I haven't, chronic over thinker 🥴🙄😊 Anyway...this turned out so gorgeous and looks lovely in your home!!! 😁 Edit...I subscribed of course...and found your 48x60 ocean color pour!! Awesome!!!

Oh my goodness, I’m so I didn’t get back to you. First, thank you so much! So I use just a basic white acrylic house paint and add some water to it so it’s not too thick. Any brand would work.

@tforigo74 Жыл бұрын
Good morning Julie, After always going through so much paint I decided to try acrylic house paint. I found it was way better. Lasted longer and goes on nice and smooth and the finish looks great. I use a white primer. I use Sico excellent muse collection soft matte but you can use any white primer. Glossy, matte, really it’s your preference what you like best. Thank you for watching and happy painting!! 🌸

That’s okay Laurie, you don’t have to like it. That’s the beautiful think about art we all have our own opinions and feelings about pieces we see. Obviously you can’t really see how pretty these kinds of paintings are in video and that’s okay too. But this is one of my favourite pieces. It’s so calming to look at 😊Anyway, thank you for your message.
