That distressing layer looks absolutely WICKED man, with some "chipping" the effect is like that's a truly battle worn Dread. Absolutely amazing, you make the Lion proud. I'm saving this video to try those techniques myself once I get to painting. For the Emperor!

I like the idea of the purity seals being county fair ribbons, there’s something entertaining about a half dead super soldier in a towering mech rolling in a big pumpkin to be judged.

I just got started in the hobby about a month ago and picked Dark Angels as my first army. Stumbled across this video as I was trying to get some inspiration for my dreadnaught. You sir, are fantastic. Such an informative video. And your voice is so calming. You are the Bob Ross of miniature painting!

Thank you so much for your kind words, and for such an undeserving comparison! I am a huge fan of Ross' work. I recently was able to see a collection of 70+ of his works it was amazing to look at it! I'm always glad to know that the videos I release are helpful. Have fun with the hobby! Thanks again for watching and commenting. Happy day to you friend!

I got into your channel when I first started customizing gunpla, while I know that you don’t make that kind of content anymore I have greatly enjoyed seeing how you have found your niche with warhammer and how much you excel at it. Great work sir and thanks for posting.

Thanks for your kind words! I am grateful. I'm actually "broadening out" again. Right now I am working on an IBO 1/100 Graze on Patreon, and will have a KZbin Ma. K video out in a few weeks. Keep your eye out in 2024 - more Gunpla, Ma. K, and Star Wars will be coming, as well as 40K. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!

Mate, that was the most chilled and coolest painting vid I've ever experienced. It was really great, and I have actually made some progress with my deathwing termies and a bit of progress with my dread even! Great delivery man. Subscribing now.

I'm getting desert tiger tank vibes. This colour is fab. It really sets the dreadnought off. I'm thinking a grey equivalent to this sand colour would work well too. Nice video as always :-)
