Wow! Adult paint by number kits showed up in my Amazon recommended - no idea why. I'm going to buy one for my adult daughter's birthday. Are you using a kit? Do you stick with the kit brushes or should I buy extra/better? I have a memory of using a little plexiglass plate to rest my arm? Great video! Thanks much.

I am using a kit. I sometimes use the paint brushes it comes with but I also have extra. The paint brushes it comes with are usually small so they do work well for the smaller areas but if there are any larger areas then it is nice to have bigger brushes.

How long did this take real time? I watched with no volume so sorry if you said it in the video

I forget exactly how long it took, but it probably took about 2-3 weeks which is usually how long it takes me to finish paint by numbers. I don't talk in my time lapse videos. I just put music over it so no worries about keeping it muted.

Shouldn't you start in a upper corner? Would be better to explain why you are doing what you are doing!

I start at the bottom left because I am right handed and this prevents me from laying my hand in the wet paint.

This is just a time lapse, for those interested in seeing the painting from start to finish, hence the title of the video _”time lapse”._ If you were looking for an explanation/tutorial, search for that.

​@@kaityyartSo to prevent you from laying your hand in wet paint by starting in the bottom left corner, you guarantee that the right sleeve of your sweater or shirt will be in the wet paint. If you watch your own video you will see that your sleeve can and does touch the canvas where you just painted. Now of course if you stop and let it dry before continuing from the left you will be ok, but you didn't say or imply you did stop at any point. I can guarantee you that won't happen to me since I start at the top left corner ( I am right handed) and paint from top to bottom, and left to right. I would warn any new painter never to do what you are doing. Please continue doing it your way, but I challenge you to find another painter that does it like you do.

@@danielearhart6467 The paint that comes with paint by numbers dries very quickly, so it is usually not very wet anyway. It is just my preference to do it this way. I just do these for fun and I am not a professional painter. If you look at my channel, you will see that I do more diamond painting compared to paint by numbers.

@@kaityyart Thanks for the reply. Then you should not have mentioned the wet paint, if it wasn't wet. Still the wrong way to do it.
