The flexi hose you connected to the fuji Turbine box is in the wrong place. The main blue hose connects to turbine box and flexi "whip" hose connects between the main hose and your paint gun. The reason for this hose is that the main blue hose is heavy and not very flexible when you try to move the gun around and the whip hose resolves that problem

Great video man. Just a tip you have the hoses on backwards the flexible 6 ft hose should be hooked to the gun. It’s easier to handle the gun and it won’t melt the hose from the turbine. The 25ft blue hose has a protective sleeve on the end of it for heat

I have a tip for you, Mr. Paint Society: Plumb an automotive A/C condenser into your compressor "fill" line, w/ a water filter/collector at the bottom of that condenser and you will never have to worry about misture ruining your projects again. I attached a radiator cooling fan to this set-up to optimize effectiveness and save my expensive air tools from the corrosive effects of that nasty moisture. I found this solution on good ol' KZbin and it works great.

Anyway, keep up the great content! I'm in the process of stripping any repainting my 1981 TR8. I move from the turbine to a traditional compressor. I'm very much a rookie painter, but I got much better results the first time with a traditional compressor setup than I was ever able to out of the turbine. Rope trick, awesome! Playing devil's advocate here, not many home DIY paint guys are going to drop $1400 on a sprayer. Given that, can you shoot a panel or three either with a LVLP gun, like the Sprayit one that only calls for about 4cfm and a cheapie/small compressor, or do the cardinal sin of using a more air hungry gun with a similarly small compressor? I know with my Astro Europro HE103, I can hold the trigger wide open for just over three min before my Harbor Freight compressor drops too low for the gun. That leaves me two choices: paint in sections, or pony up and buy a better compressor. I'd love to see what you can do keeping the whole spray rig under say $400-500. Compressor, hose, filter/dryer, gun. The gauntlet has been tossed, but don't overthink it. It's just paint. 😎

I have a Q4 turbine and it is far from quiet. It is as loud as my crappy shop vac and i need ear protection to be comfortable when spraying, even if i keep it 20 feet away. It gets very hot too, so i always try to keep it in the shade and run a box fan to cool the unit. maybe overkill, but heat is the enemy and this thing seems to run too hot. Maybe the turbine fans are made to withstand the heat, but im not taking that chance.
