I’ll definitely be tidying up this Assassin model with another coat of white and black to get some crisper lines. I’ve left my mistakes in just to show it doesn’t always go to plan! 🤣

I don't have anywhere to use a spray can but that Wraithbone gives such a nice finish, I think a targeted "pin wash" in the recesses would have been better and then you probably wouldn't even need to apply the white. But with white, multiple thinner coats will give a smoother, brighter finish due to the coarse pigment. Thanks for these tutorials - I banged out five harvesters today and I'm waiting for the primer to dry on the rest of the Purge from the set.

Is there going to be a tutorial for the Live One?

I started to but he ended up being just two main colours so I didn’t. Of all of the models he’s the easiest to paint. I’d recommend contrast paints using Ork Flesh for the green parts and Shyish Purple for the dark robes. Then you could highlight the robes with a dry brush of a lighter purple layer paint if you wanted to. There’s also a glowing part on the back. For this, just paint it back to Wraithbone with some layer paint, then add some technical Nihilakh Oxide over it once it’s dried. I’ve got lots more painting videos coming and as we get closer to October, I’ll be releasing the Core Space videos more frequently as we prepare for the exciting launch of the First Born game. Thanks Lee, I was debating on Core Space for some time and your videos helped make my decision to get it. sadly missed out on both Kickstarter’s but got the core game this past weekend.

@@joshinman9780 Three weeks ago, I picked up the Frontier terrain set to use with Stargrave and Five Parsecs. The crew packs looked like they would be good for that too, so I picked up a few of those. Then I figured the Core Space starter was a good value for the terrain and models, so why not learn the game? Well, at this point I now literally have the entire Core Space product line as well as five of the Terrain box sets. So yeah, there's lots to enjoy down this rabbit hole. :D

@@tabletopskirmishgames Thanks, I was wondering where you were putting the Nilakh. I'll have to read up more on the Live Ones, the pose almost makes it look like he's using some psychic power and I'm tempted to do an effect on the hands too.
