The gilding on top of the decoupage paper was just what it needed! I have been wanting to try a decoupage piece, and this was such a pretty transformation. Glad you mentioned about drop cloth, it's vital inside, but I guess you figured that out :)

I recommend and oil based poly or marine topcoat. Those yellow though so can't use them over light colors of paint

Is there a decoupage paper for longer dresser drawers? This paper is beautiful but too small for my dresser

A0 is the largest size of decoupage paper for furniture. I don't think this one comes in that size, though. The patterns either run wider or longer so make sure you pick one that flows the direction you need it it to.
