I usually paint old photos of mine, instant nostalgia so just bingeing on your videos. BUT I really want to have a go at this. Some interesting pigments/paints in this. It made me think of Harry Potter with Indigo Dementors swirling about. Thanks.

I am often asking my grandchildren "what colours do you see in that ploughed field" and we then start to move away from just 'brown'. Looking more closely there are so many more colours if we take time to really look. My grandchildren love doing this, and it makes me happy. Really enjoyed your video, thank you

I did a space/nebula scene lately, and the dispersion of the Nickel Azo Yellow and the Cobalt Teal was really fun to play with! I think the Quin Purple dispersed well too, but since it was so dark it didn't have the same dramatic effect.

@@paulalittle2495 Hi Paula in Mesa :) MY brother lives in Chandler, and we are down there quite a bit. He is about 10 minutes from Jerry's and close to Blick's too. There is a Hobby Lobby and Michaels about five minutes from his house, so it is a favorite destination for many reasons. LOL :)

I am intrigued after watching your youtube video of a watercolor on black ground. I have painted in acrylics on dark background and really like the play of colors against the dark background. Lately I have been using brusho crystal watercolors. I'd like to try them on the black ground as they burst with bits of contrasting colors. I wonder about using Brusho watercolors with opaque white. Would it be labeled a mixed media piece? Do you call your paintings on black ground watercolors?

I love that phalo turchois. I just found a dark color i love. It is DS lunar blue. Is the dark paint still wet? The yellow doesn't muddy? Which color is in the mixing pallet that looks like pink? Good video!
