great work! love the first piece. 😊👍 The first canvas made me think of a galaxy (space) scene, first , then I saw a sunset sky, then I saw an ocean at sunset. 😉 the pig is adorable! 🥰 The wood panels are beautiful. 😄 too bad the carpet piece didn't work out, but it was a good idea. 😉 I LOVE the Care Bears! 😉 So I vote yes on that! 😉👍 I hate it when things don't retain their beauty and vibrancy, when dry. 🙄 The bears look great! 💖 I think my favourite is the bear on a star (with the darker base). But Everything is great! 😊👍

I absolutely love this and I have done acrylic pour a few times now and have some tips I've learned along the way. First of all, you've got the absolute hardest thing to learn down which is a knowledge of color theory. If you choose colors that are compliments they can mix and get muddy. I know it certainly can be done (but I'm def not someone that can give advice on that - I don't have anywhere near enough experience). You had amazing color pallets for your pieces though. That being said, I think that's why the neons lost a bit of their brightness is that they were mixing a bit. Similarly, I think something that might have dulled some of your colors is that your cups might have been too big. I don't remember where I learned it but if you basically should fill a cup. The reason being that if the paint has to slide down the side of the cup, it mixes while it pours so you don't get clearly separated colors. Since you used - in my opinion - a perfect amount of paint, I think a smaller cup is your best bet (I use red solos often and I just cut the top off of them so they're shorter). Those split cups are sooooo cool though and I'm going to have to get myself some. Also, this is the coolest most creative use of acrylic pour that I've ever seen and I absolutely love the things you poured on. That was so unbelievably unique and it makes me want to pour on all of my things now.

This seems really fun. Great job as always, maybe if you added some painters tape on the mandala before adding the pour paint it would help, just an idea, I really like how it turned out anyway it was my favorite. 😊😊

Would a heat gun on low at a distance help soften the heads, reshape and put in cool water to set, help them? Galaxy theme pour? My favorite piece is the neon bear!

For the carpet… maybe if you spray some fixative or hair spray to set the fibers & make them water resistant it wil work better. Than the paint can’t soak into the fibers

Hullo Sarah, wonderful pouring projects! “Olga Soby” is an amazing pour painter here on KZbin! Be sure to check her out! If your cell creation solution is silicone you need to wash the surface of your painting, just use a dish soap like Dawn or another good grease remover detergent. I enjoyed watching the entire video and hope you try again, I found mixing my paints with water and/or flotrol (a fluid medium) or a straight out pouring medium gives me greater depth and swirling textures. I hope you try the carebear idea too! Thank you for sharing all of your ideas and experiences with us today. Take care, be safe and enjoy your day!

What did you use to keep the paint from going everywhere? Was it just a poster board or something? That first bear reminds me of this thing my elementary art teacher did, which was to melt crayon pieces and bake them in a muffin tin to get swirls of colors! I've always wanted one of those but never got one.

I put one of those cheap plastic tablecloths down first with a poster board on top. For the poster board I was able to switch between 2-3 different ones so the paint could dry before reusing the same piece. Crayon melting is fun! I've done quite a few projects with crayon melting over the years.
