Paint protection film (PPF) vs Ceramic vs Teflon | New Bike or car? Classic 350 | CB 350

Paint protection film (PPF) has been trending lately as it offers protection to your paint.
We have other options like Teflon coating and ceramic coatings on which is the best option for your bike or car?
Having a protection layer over your paint is very useful when your temperature is humid and during Harsh weather conditions dust and rocks could damage your paint.
Paint protection film forms a layer over your paint which also helps you to protect from UV rays.
Paint protection layer has to be changed after five years as it loses its Shine and gloss, so how does ceramic coating last after 5 years because paint protection film will start showing its age after 5 years and start to turn yellow.
Ceramic coating has a lower life but it offers a lot of gloss and shine till it is present on your bike or car, this makes it much better in terms of look and feel. Paint protection film for bikes can be used in certain areas where there is higher chances of rust and corrosion.

My observations on the mentioned products differ 1. Wax Vs Ceramic or Teflon : One can do wax by their own but remember wax coating attracts more dust post applications whereas ceramic or Teflon doesn’t. I would recommend a good quality Ceramic which acts like a protective layer but it’s not permanent PPF : one of the most advanced technology as far as paint protection is concerned. One can select good brand based on their own independent budget.

With my slight Cheapskate mindset a naked bike does not need much in terms of protection. most comes with plastic panels and can get replaced. tank is the only this that is metal and that needs some form of protection especially to its lower bottom area. most prone to rust part would be the chassis. would rather treat the about to catch rust chassis part than painted plastics.

I am taking delivery of my ktm adventure 390 which has matte & gloss combination color scheme. Infact the glossy panels are mostly stickered. Should i go ahead with ppf coating?
