• Early Morning Beachsca...
Hope you enjoy the process of adding all the details of this early morning beachscape.
This is an exercise in understanding the nuance of hue and tone in relation to the light. We’re adding elements including clouds, waves, reflections, being mindful of the "warm to cool principle", as well as the effect that the light has on all the objects. We’re paying particular attention to the difference in the way light affects all objects, relative to their distance from the light source.
This tutorial focuses in on brush technique, your observation skills, and will require a gentle hand. Get your subtle on! We’ll be using a fairly limited palette to keep our colours under control.

In 2016 artist Mark Waller experienced a profound spiritual awakening driven by a near death experience. Having never really written before, he was suddenly and completely compelled to record his story by a force outside his experience and understanding.
His compelling journey of discovering universal “truths”, revelling in the divine mundane and the shocking reality of living with cancer is truly emotive, enlightening and poignant.
