Evalyne Raisor use paint and don’t dilute it (well, just a little so your lines are smooth and don’t have textured edges)

In my experience, cheap gouache is harder to work with and can produce a more rough texture especially when you paint multiple layers. I recommend more higher quality gouache for smoother finish and process.

I'm breathless and envious. You seriously know your stuff. Everything is just so well planned out. The colour palette, the outfit, the choice of animal friends, the little details like the mismatched socks, the organic colour blocking... Every brush stroke has a purpose. And yet somehow the pose is not stiff in the slightest but still graceful and full of movement. A character like this gives the impression of depth and familiarity, like a really well fleshed-out OC.
