If anyone was curious, the set likely didn’t contain white because traditionally you don’t use white in watercolor! Traditionally, negative space is utilized in areas meant to have white, and the watercolor paints opacity to lighten the colors. As my teacher told me, adding white watercolor makes the paint more opaque and can sometimes make them chalkier, giving an effect that more closely resembles gouache~ 💛🌿
