I am curious if the new James Webb telescope provides inspiration for you or if it is more about creativity and inspiration (maybe fantasy) vs. science. Basically, I was curious if these new images will provide new inspiration or if you prefer painting from your mind and internal muse. Thanks for the fun video!

It’s definitely incredibly fascinating! Mostly I look for more up close images of various nebula clusters for reference, so if any of those pop up then I’ll absolutely be looking to them for inspiration.

Have you tried applying paint to an acrylic stamping block and smooshing it on, or smooshing 2 lids together, or using alcohol inks instead?

I haven’t tried any of those (yet). I had highly considered playing around with some alcohol ink but I was worried it might deep into the lid a little too much. I’ll have to get around to it someday!
