Loved this loose florals tutorial! This is exactly what I want to learn :D I'm not a green thumb, but I DO have at least 15 houseplants and I always want more. I try to buy plants that are easy to care for...I've had a lot of luck with pothos, bamboo and philodendron. I might buy some air plants, too...just to see if I can keep them alive! I love watching flower and leaf watercolor tutorials - someday, I hope I'll be able to paint them as beautifully as you!

#emailcrew. LOVED this video, Dana! Working light, very light, has always been my biggest challenge. These will help enormously. One of my top 5 fave flowers. I had a GREAT green thumb when we built our house, as I planned the backyard garden with the landscaper. Then we moved into an apt after our sale, and my green thumb is now brown. I am a good outdoor plant mom...having two indoor cats often does not permit me to keep plants indoors. I grow iris, lavender, black eyed susans, sunflowers, cone flowers, hostas and have lilac bushes and seasonal plants and love taking photos of them growing at different stages.

These are beautiful!! I'm a terrible plant mum, I've had bamboo twice and succulents recently and they all died :'( I've got a tiny shoot of a succulent that survived so we'll see how long that lasts haha
