Some much fun & I love the round paper! I may try this with indigo & pinks & use colored gel pens for a fireworks birthday card. Maybe put a bridge at the bottom. You're making me think :)

Wonderful tutorial. I personally love the Daniel Smith Primatek paints. Kyanite Genuine has a great sparkle and is a wonderful blue great for night skies. I love Moonglow, Quinacridone red and rose, and I like to add a touch of Phthalo green and Hansa yellow to add highlights.

This is very pretty but please tell me how you frame it? I would replace the black with a mixture of ultramarine blue, crimson and burnt sienna for the darkest part with purple, violet, ultramarine on its own and crimson. Thank you for the opportunity to have a chance to win a copy of your book.

Very nice! Purple is my favorite color so I always work that into my galaxy paintings. I also prefer to use yellow & a hint of green.

Love your tutorials, you make it look so easy!! Haven’t tried a night sky yet but I think I’d used similar colors. Do you know the difference between lamp black and lunar black? 😊

From what I've learned, Lamp Black is a deep black and has a slightly more brownish undertone (warmer), and Lunar Black (also called Mars black) has a more bluish grey/cool undertone.

Nice touch on the mountains. I guess you can use any colors for a night sky. I don't usually think too much about it. Your book is on my wish list for this year. Still thinking if I would dare to paint directly on the book or not. #emailcrew
