The main hull and masts are snakebit leather. Only the deck is skeleton horde and wyldwood was only for trim

Personally can't wait for Dystopian Wars (the new Warcradle edition) to paint with Contrast paints, basicly the same scale.

Those ships from Oak and Iron are just beautiful I can't wait to get my hands on some. Any news on regular retail release yet? I'm guessing given the current situation it's not a high priority

The plan was for it to go retail almost as soon as the KS was fulfilled. With the current situation... who knows for sure. :-/

I just got my Oak & Iron core box this week. Your ship hulls start out white but mine are already brown. Any idea why that is? I still want to paint them as they lack any detail.

He mentioned that he primed them white. Light colors like that tend to work best with Contrast paints. You'll definitely want to prime them if you're going to paint, otherwise the paint doesn't stick very well.
