It actually does. If it's running on a nine volt, the quadruple A batteries in it have a graphite rod, and that starts dissolving. So yes, turning it on does make a difference in the weight.

You can the the solenoid setting at the start of the efficiency test: Its on Mid. And from the sound of the shot my guess it has the geo2.1 bolt installed

Yeah bro, either gun you choose will be awesome. What kind of paintball do you play mostly? What aspects are most important to you in a marker? based on that I could recommend one or the other but you really should shoot and play with both before investing in a marker of that value. You will most likely prefer the way one feels than the other as well as the sounds signature and shooting quality...you would never buy a high end car without a good test drive of a few :)

Geo 2.1 or Empire AX if you dont have the cash. AX is a very very high end gun with a mid range price. My 2.1 is soo smooth and shoots so well im not sure you can even really want to upgrade upon asking more from a marker.

The only questions I have as Im sure others do as well is, which bolt did you use for the test? and what was your solenoid setting during the test? open, closed, middle? only reason I ask is because Jack Woods has mentioned getting a little better efficiency with the solenoid all the way down and using the regular bolt? It stopped working your saying because it was open bolt? Well if closed bolt is that high of importance to you than your choice is pretty clear that you should get the Geo3..Most tourney players use that over the LV1 now anyways

hey mike i have a question. i have a critical 100g barrel and i've been told to swap out the shaft4 for the critical 100g instead since i already own one. the reason i got was because of the smaller 0.688 bore vs the shaft4's 0.689 bore and also because of the shorter barrel. whats your thought on the subject?

Luxe is smoothest and quietest. However Id rather have the LCD screen Geo 3 rather than a talking board, and you dont have to open the grips up. Otherwise the Geo 3 is more reliable and youll get the most shots off it. Also it runs off any tank pressure, where as the luxe ioerates best off medium pressure. And yes, stay away from DMs

geo 3 if u like spoil valve guns and ego 11 if u like poppet valve guns , the ego 11 is 200$ less also. Hope This Helps .

Geo 3 is more reliable but Clone GT has a smoother shot, they are both extremely accurate but do not get a g6r when you have that money. If you want anything else, get a luxe 2.0 or a machine vapor. I would get the Geo3, Good Luck

It's a good gun, but I PERSONALLY prefer guns that don't have interior gaslines... They're easier to work on, so GEO is my preferred gun out of those.
