With soooo many questions on my social media pages, I felt like it was finally time to show y’all just what to do!! Custom Rolling Tray sets are super popular and my biggest seller! They are for those who like to roll their own cigarettes 😎

I love everything about this! thanks for sharing your process. that silicone makeup brush would be great for getting the epoxy all over the tray if you didn't want to use your finger. the kind they use to apply epoxy to the glitter tumblers. Those silicone makeup brushes are super helpful!

In the beginning I was showing how I cut my vinyl decals for my trays using a silhouette cameo 2... there are several other machines out there but this is the one I have. You have so many options when it comes to decals, u can use stickers, or printouts as well.

Another question for you...do you ever make these with glitter? If so, do you apply glitter to everything (like the lighter or ash tray) & if so, do you epoxy those as well? Or do you just do a few coats of glitter sealer? I worry if someone tries to wash their ash tray the glitter will come off without the epoxy.

To adhere smaller things to the trays you can also use something with less tack like scotch tape. Keeps the alignment and doesn't tear the paint away.

RayniaTABou what do you sit your trays on after you epoxy them??? Due to the epoxy loving to run it sticks to whatever I lay it on to epoxy it and once I pick it up its stuck and so now I have to peel it off and it chips my paint on the tray or it has extra epoxy spots that’s different than the whole tray.

I have a question, if I am unable to get a sticker or decal can I print my image onto any type of special paper and glue it on or would that cause problems with the epoxy?

Tasha Fedorsen hey there!! Thanks for watching!! I do that all the time!! I print images I like on regular printer paper and mod podge them down, at least 3 coats, letting each coat dry fully in between, that way the epoxy doesn’t seep under the image and damage it! Hope this helps!!

To help you save time and cups, get a small kitchen digital scale. You can place the cup and then zero out the weight of the cup. Now you can pour in resin to the desired amount, zero out the resin weight and then pour the same amount of hardener. Bam! One cup to use for mixing.

Hey there! Thanks so much for watching! You are absolutely right! I only sealed them with mod podge! It holds up great, but if you insist on epoxy, all you need is the thinnest layer, like only dip your gloves index finger in the epoxy and rub it really thin, super thin! Hope this helps!

Love this video! For your glitter trays, do you prime the tray and sprinkle the glitter directly on the wet paint or do you prime, mod podge, and then glitter?

Val Gardner hey there! Thanks for watching! How many coats depends on the glitter coverage you want. I let each layer dry for about 30 mins to an hour... and you mod podge then glitter, and then mod podge then glitter again, then epoxy! Hope this helps!

Jessica Urban hey there! Thanks for watching! No, you don’t have to use epoxy but keep in mind the use for the tray. The epoxy acts as a smooth surface with no crevices or room for buildup.. it makes its functionality so much better.

I am new to this and never seen ROLLING TRAYS! THEY ARE CUTE!! Once made, what are ppl doing with them? Are they serving stuff food on them? Is it safe to do so knowing it's been spray painted and epoxy has been used on them?

Sheila Holiday hey there! Thanks for watching! Once made people generally use them to roll weed on them. The epoxy is food safe but I don’t recommend because of the spray paint... also some people use them as vanity trays or just as decoration.

RayniaTABou I went and found everything lol, but quick question...would it help to add Mod Podge over the vinyl on the lighter and cups? Wouldn’t it help prevent it from peeling or do it last a good while without the coat over it?

Ashley Mitchell yes, that is definitely an option! I do sometimes if i feel the decal is too small and can easily be damaged, it’s all based on your judgement.

WD-40 and a dry paper towel works really well to get the sticker residue off of the product
