I have one tips I would like to share: When the hunter is so close to you, and you already have your painting ready, just place down the painting to create distance from the hunter.

I have played a lot of painter and I suggest vaulting a window, place the painting then vault back so hunter ends up on the other side

I bought Painter and he is awesome. I learnt to use the painting when rescuing and especially kiting when the hunter is going to hit you. Espeically with Snooze 3, he takes forever to fly. Pretty efficient to cipher rush.

If there's a pallet between the hunter and the painting, the hunter will uncontrollably break the pallet XD also you can counter his paintings if your cam it's not turned at it's direction.

Even tho he has speed buff, I would use broken windows (well I mostly use it on my characters tho) but if you like to rescue then you can use tide

The only tips I have for you is to only use the paintings when you have if you think to you can last a bit longer raw kiting. And maybe if you want to go for the rescue use your painting at the chair and it will have the hunter go to it for a free rescue unless they have excitement.

I'd use snooze on him cuz great power helps waste time but if ur at bad spot it'll be hard to kite longer and waste time, while snooze it'll make hunter suffer even if they catch u fast owo

I haven't met hell ember recently so it will be difficult to make that. Hmm perhaps some basic tips : don't stun too much on early game because he can get more and more presence. And remember to dismantle the walking doll : you can drop pallet first then dismantle ; if there is no pallet try to dodge the hit and dismantle right away

for dream witch, they should make the skills for her disabled so she can't switch to another kid. if a hunter is a top player, they would probably keep in mind about that and keep doing it if possible which makes painter useless with DW.

I can not understand why people say that he is balanced.they point out downside such as excitement,location reveal for 5 secs,needing to look at the hunter for 3 secs so bad early game?excitement is a 1 time thing because even if you get down because of it the 1st painting you can draw another one after getting chaired and with his chair trait it is even better.a 5 secs reveal after getting stunned is almost useless because after it is finished the painter would already transition to another area.looking at the hunter for 3 secs is easier than charging an owl for seer so no his early game is bad.he has one of the most OP skill he counter chair mechanic.he is just so well rounded that every thing he has is good.and that is not balanced at all that is unbalanced
