You kinda touched on it, but there's a deeper meaning in the "name" bar. In Spain, especially at the time, noble families used to add the name of the father to that of the son. So by listing his entire name, extremely long, and then comparing it to just "Bob", Pablo is essentially saying "I'm a noble and you're nothing".

On an extra note, this flex by Picasso is turned on its head by Ross, with his "Well Bob is dropping bombs like this is Guernica, I served 20 years, Air Force, United States of America". With that, he's actively replying to the "I'm a noble and you're nothing" by effectively saying that his noble birth is worth nothing if there are no actions tied to it, which Bob does have.

"My technique will make your mistress weep / Put her to sleep, elbow drop her dreams; I go deep..." There is a lot to unpack in that little couplet, and frankly, I'm still impressed that the ERB guys managed to layer so much about Picasso in there. To elaborate: First of all-- it of course comes as no big surprise that there would be at least one reference to Picasso having a mistress. Picasso is notorious for the rather horrific way he treated the women in his life. In this case, the line actually references two of the mistresses that Picasso had. The first one referenced, Dora Maar, was the subject of his famous 1937 painting 'The Weeping Woman'; Picasso was physically abusive toward her. The other, Marie-Thérèse Walter, was Picasso's mistress before Maar; at the time they met, she was only 17, and he was 45 and married. Walter eventually bore Picasso's second child, and modeled for another famous painting of his from 1932, entitled 'Le Rêve' (which means 'The Dream' in French). When Picasso's first wife Olga found out about his affair with Walter, she filed for divorce, but he refused to split his property evenly with her, so Olga was legally trapped in the marriage until her death in 1955. (And all of this isn't even getting into his second marriage to Françoise Gilot or his other infidelities that came after Walter-- he truly was a serial adulterer!) In 2006, there was a really big uproar in the international art community when 'Le Rêve', which by then had made its way into the collection of the Las Vegas casino mogul Steve Wynn, was set to be sold off for $139 million, which would have made it the single most expensive painting ever sold. However, the sale was botched when Wynn accidentally jabbed his elbow through the canvas, creating a six-inch tear in the painting that necessitated a $90,000 repair. Wynn eventually sold the painting seven years later for $155 million (which was actually a loss compared to the 2006 amount, when adjusted for inflation). I remember the 2006 incident very well; I was an art student at the time. So, in that one couplet, Bob is pointing out how horrible Picasso was to women, suggesting that he could seduce Picasso's mistresses away from him, and referencing a famous incident of one of Picasso's artworks being damaged.

God the hate for Nickelback is so undeserved. They made so many fun songs that I still listen to today. I'll never understand what people hate them. It's also straight up just untrue that they're untalented. Chad Kroger spent around a year studying hit songs in 2001 and made How You Remind Me, which was I think the most played song on the radio when it came out, because he deliberately wrote it to be a hit based on the songs he studied. What's more impressive is that it didn't even take long for them to record it. All in the all the band spent about 20 minutes discussing the song and only 10 minutes recording it. They're a great band that gets a lot of shit because they happen to have songs that sound similar, though none of them are actually exactly the same as each other and can easily be recognized by people who pay attention.
