Looking great! It’s always good to see other techniques to help expand the repertoire.

Really enjoyed video, will try the tip with the tan yellow. When I base figures I colour the filler with brown. If it chips later you don't have a bright white showing.
@StormofSteelWargaming3 жыл бұрын
Cheers, colouring the filler is a certainly a good idea, and saves time, but I've never had an issue with it chipping tbh. So whatever works for you.

Nice work! I’m interested that you highlight after the wash - I like to do it the other way round. I’m definitely going to try your undercoat method for the flesh advantage!
@StormofSteelWargaming3 жыл бұрын
Cheers Nigel, I find the wash can blur colours considerably, so for bright cloth like the reds and blues of Napoleonic I want them to pop a bit. On WW2 figures I generally don't even bother with any highlights apart from flesh. I use any tools that help me get figures painted quickly. I hope it works for you!

Really nice, my eyes hurt when painting anything smaller than 28mm. These turned out great 👍

Cheers! 15mm is more about the spectacle than the detail. I live by the 3ft rule!

Good to see you're back to making videos after all the wild debauchery as you celebrated your Caesar win. And now my big question - why 31 figs and not 32?
@StormofSteelWargaming3 жыл бұрын
It took a few days to recover, that's for sure! Only because that's all I had, I actually got a bonus figure in the pack which was supposed to be 30...

Nice work. You’re like a bloody machine! I’ve just finished off some AB French Cuirassiers. Took me a over week to do 16!😂😂

Cheers Nick, horse always take a lot longer to paint than infantry. I'm not looking forward to painting some if I'm honest...

I hate painting cavalry. But lockdown and WFH for 12 months has allowed me to paint huge numbers for my Napoleonics. Same rule as you for horses, block paint and various washes and horse bridles all black with metal detail and it’s a done job. Strangely it black or white horses that cause me the biggest headaches. 😬😬
@StormofSteelWargaming3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I've never really enjoyed painting horses myself. The quicker I can get them done the better IMO!

Nice painting.What brushes and sizes are you painting with?
@StormofSteelWargaming3 жыл бұрын
Thank you, it's a mix but they are usually between 3/0 and 0 in size. Not sure of the manufacturer though.

May I ask if those movement trays are custom made? I've been interested in doing Sharp Practice in 15mm, but the thought of multi-basing the miniatures has always deterred me.
@StormofSteelWargaming3 жыл бұрын
They are from Warbases and I asked for them to be custom made, but they do a huge range of movement trays anyway.
