After over forty years, I have recently switched from Humbrol Enamels to using Vallejo Model Color acrylics. There is a bit of a learning curve in getting familiar with this new water-based medium and I have made a few mistakes along the way. I have found your figure painting tutorials to be comprehensive and very helpful . Thank you.

Glad to have been of service Robert, I made the switch to acrylics decades ago, and have not once looked back. It may be worth while getting a wet palette as that will keep your acrylic paints usable longer similar to enamels.

i am learning that prolific mini painters dont agonize about the details, they just get on with it.... "especially the 15mm figures"

That's the first thing to learn really. The three foot rule is always in action with my figures. If you can't see it from three feet away, don't sweat it.

Excellent tutorial. This has inspired me to pull out my WWI Germans and to stop faffing about with them and get them done. You have shown a great method to get these done step by step.
