On a piece like this I wouldnt find it easy to decide on colour schemes. Probably I wouldnt go for a simple gloss black, because that would be too obvious & stereotyped, natures colours can provide a clue- insect colours for example, or sea predators such as Sharks grey skin, or that of an Eel, or it could be a colour with high light tints here & there (which probably works best)

Hello, I bought the files for this statuette, but when I looked at the video I realised that I wasn't seeing the same thing as regards the skull. The one in the video is in two parts, one representing the bony skull and the second transparent part covering the top of the skull, and it's this part that I don't understand. As far as the skull itself is concerned, the surface that is transparent for you is a single block with the bony part, so I wonder why you have two parts including the transparent part and why in the files there is only one single part for the head/skull, although I bought and downloaded my file on CgTrader as you indicated in the video, as there is only one bust of the xenomorph I don't understand this difference. 🤔

Hi, as far as I know. The model I paint in this video is only available as a printed kit. Daniel did not upload these as files for printing. This particular model can be purchased directly from Daniel @3dklos, and is also distributed by "Lil House of Horror". I received this one to paint before the premiere.

Google lilshopofhorrorsusa. (since youtube doesn't allow links) The Giger bust is shown in the video. I bought the full 1/4 scale kit which is nearly 2ft tall and is incredible, but it is not cheap. It's available in 1/8, 1/6 and 1/4 scale. You will need to contact him as the kit is not listed in the online store.
