OMG I am in tears. Last march I had to put down my 17 yr old best friend, Mocha. Ever since then I have been wanting to paint a portrait of her and have been searching the internet for a tutorial to help me do so. I have not found one that I felt looked enough like her until today, Your portrait looks just like my Mocha. Do u have the full length lesson for this particular painting and if so how do I access it. Beautiful work

I love to use my left over pigment that sinks to the bottom of my jars filled with gamsole. That way i feel like im not wasting any paint. I aso like to use that for my underpaintings.

What size brush do you use for the whiskers? I have a beautiful St Bernard and handsome pittie I’m going to try to paint this week. BTW, great painting! Love the realism you pull off.
@DanielleTrudeauStudios2 жыл бұрын
I personally use anything smaller than a size 3 for round brushes for whiskers, though I find these easiest to do with a long liner brush! 😊

Would love to be able to join & become a member just to paint this beautiful Himalayan cat..❤ But unfortunately I just can’t afford to… 😢

I hate glazing, it makes a painting so dark and removes all detail progress😢 it also really doesnt work om canvas due to the structure of it. I Tried but I will stick with applying colors directly.
