Great as usual. Glad you explained control coat. The patchy/mottling you mentioned after 2 base coats is what gets me when using rattle cans. I always put too much paint on and ruin the job. Anyway, I've learned that you don't need to knock that out in 1 or 2 coats.

Your edge to edge match between the rear fender and the boot lid is spot on. As for the mismatched bumper, they come from the factory like that. They are produced off site and delivered on the "just in time" system. Great job and whoever welded the fender in did a splendid job.

Great color! Too bad new 4 series are such ugly cars (the newest ones)! Great performers, but just so ugly (newest ones, not this one) and don’t get me started on their throw away engines! BMW has been ruining cars that should be beautiful for nearly 25 years at this point. I am sure Audi (who is making some of the most beautiful cars in this category) send nice Christmas cards to BMW every year for sending them so many customers! LMAO!

How come you just mix the color to formula you didn't have to do color matching or anything like

There are formulas for many different variants of the same color, i choose the variant that matches best and mix according to the formula. Sometimes i have to tint the color a little bit but most of the time ppg paint has great color match 👍🏻😁
