Just wanted to let everyone know that I am working on another video. I wasn't able to get it done in time for a Thursday upload. I was hoping to do some plein air painting in the meantime and upload a chronicle of that, but the rain has kept me indoors. I'll be back soon though with another video! Thank you all so much for your support.

I agree with Dale. It seems to me you paint with deliberation. Not slow, not fast. I finished the second episode and the best is yet to come, folks. Since I have started watching your videos, I have become more patient. Better results. Showing the reference? Mmm. I did not miss it.

Thanks Rob. That was very interesting. It was especially good for me to see the amount of time spent. I have a little trouble being patient. Growing up watching William Alexander and Bob Ross it is easy to (incorrectly) believe a good looking painting should be done in 30 minutes :-) But that isn't realistic and I don't want my painting to look like theirs or done in that style anyway. I like the way the paint is applied without much blending and that takes time. Somewhere in the back of my mind I want to do a portrait of the ugliest Brown pelican I can find and do no or very little blending...just an idea I'm playing with. I'm off to buy supplies to finish my studio easel build. Thank you for your hard work bringing these videos to KZbin. I find them very helpful.

No worries. I was the exact same way. I love Bob Ross, but it trained me early to assume that I had to complete every painting quickly. It took me a while to get out of that as a young painter. Awesome! Keep painting and thank you so much for supporting my channel!
