Huzzah,, i started using this ink as their watercolours aren't light fastness at all . Which i knew but i wanted to sell originals. Seems like some people want more than prints. Thank you thank you for sharing this i am grateful and appreciated. I am having a hard time relearning how to paint using india ink. Best of luck like some people want more than prints. Awesome video and artwork. I know you said you debated on doing a music only version but this one was great. The voice over helps us viewer experience the painting with you. Keep it up man!!

This was so meditative. I really enjoyed watching the process. What is the song?? You kept it a secret! Screen printing? Whats the cost on something like this on watercolor paper? Obviously not size of huge ass door
@jshockyall3 жыл бұрын
Oh crap Eugenie I forget to put the song in the description! I'll do that. It's Fresh Fallen Snow by Chris Haugen...I like screen printing! I've done apparel but I'd like to try paper. And are you asking how much for a commission or how much it cost to create one?
Hi, your work is dope! do you use water colour ink too or just Indian ink when on paper ? I've just lashed out on a set of martins indian inks but seeing ppl line in the black and use the water colour inks to blend colour. Hope this isn't offensive but are you a neurodivergent like most of us creatives ?
@jshockyall2 жыл бұрын
Hey there! Thank you for saying that! I typically only use the India inks. I like them for the same reason people line with them. They are permanent. I tried watercolor, and I loved it, but I like that I can layer up the India ink without ruining what’s already dried. I’m sure it’s personal preference. I don’t really do wet blends. I rely on the gradient of the first color I lay to do the blending, if that makes sense?? The India ink also has the advantage of being lightfast. I have paintings 10 years old that are still as bright as the day I did them. At least it appears that way. Im not offended at all. I had to look that up though. I’m not to my knowledge. I’ve looked into it though because I’ve been curious in the past. Thanks for the comment!

@@jshockyall thanks for the reply and understand the layering explanation .. I've not worked with India inks before, I'm excited. I've got adhd and husband has the quirks of Asperger's. we're both tattoo artists and have our little specific regiments like the way describes how you eat 🥲😊 Thanks for the videos ... great inspiration and appreciated .
