Well painted. But it's also painfully clear why this burst normally is the other way round. This would have been much better with sharp lines between the colours at the edges.

Nice work as always Jay. Won't the rough grain in the body wood telegraph thru the finish clear? I know I've had issues finishing if the woods not prepped properly.

Im a little confused, was told that when spraying laquer you shouldnt put so much spray at once but it seems you are not worried, can you just keep going til the color is good?

@@studios1818 yes, when spraying color that is not a problem. When you are spraying clear coat, you need to wait in between coats so the solvents can gas out.

Eh, it looks like an HSS strat with a hard tail, in that paint color and configuration it's absolutely for a metal guitarist and it very much looks the part. In that context, it looks great
