Thank you for showing us how you made this lion's head. It is beautiful. This helps me by painting a lion on a paper giftbag for my little nephew. Instead of gift wrapping, I wanted to make a special bag for him. This way his Mom can hang the paper bag on the wall as if it were a small painting. And he can put his small treasures inside of it. Fun!

How did you get the lion drawing tone on the canvas? And how did you make it not run when you added water?

The water wasn’t running because he took the right amount of paint and he let it dry for a bit.

Hi Crsitian, I mostly used Liquitex's Basics and here are the colors: Cadmium yellow, Raw Sienna, Red Oxide, Mars Black, and Titanium White. I hope that is helpful!
