Painting a Warhammer High Elf Army Like it's 1995!

Hi everyone! Welcome to my first (of many) Old World hobby hour painting guides. Today we're going to paint a Warhammer High Elf in an old school, 90's style.
My materials:
Rosemary and Co series 99 red sable, size 0, 1, and 2. (and an old beat up size 2 for drybrushing)
Citadel, Vallejo, and P3 model paints
Black & White (any brand)
Vallejo Game Color - Off White
Citadel - Darkoath Flesh, Iron Hands Steel, Tyran Blue, Drakenhof Nightshade, Stormhost Silver, Seraphim Sepia, Lamian Medium, Gorthor Brown, Screaming Skull, Casandora Yellow, Cygor Brown Contrast Medium, Warpstone Glow, Biel-Tan Green, Fire Dragon Bright, Magmadroth Flame, Retributor Armor, Imperial Fist, Gore-Grunta Fur, Troll Slayer Orange, Wild Rider Red, Kislev Flesh, Flayed One Flesh.
Bases: Mournfang Brown, Balor Brown, Screaming Skull, Dawnstone, Nuln Oil, Agrax Earthshade.

Man, I really like that color scheme. I did a test model back in the day where I painted the robes green and had orange trim, but it was too much green and I didn't get the high elf vibe. I really like your scheme where the robes stay white and the green/orange is used for trim.

I remember reading in an old White Dwarf they suggested white for the main color for high elves, and any other color should be treated like an accent. Makes a lot of sense for their aesthetic, but it sure takes a long time to paint. Thanks for watching!

How do you make the "thin glaze of Casandora Yellow"? Thinned with water? Medium?

Sorry I wasn't more clear in my description. It's not diluted with anything, I meant thin as in very little paint on the brush, so it doesn't flow anywhere and the overall layer of paint is just enough to tint the surface and tie the colors together. Hope this helps!
