I just purchased the Painterly brush set a week or so ago … I noticed that my brushes are different than those in the tutorial. How do I know if I have the latest set? Thanks! :) For example, the soft pointed pallet brush is wide on the left side and tapered on the right in the brushes studio, but your looks different in the video … I get a wide stroke when painting in an upward motion, you get a taper.

Thanks for your purchase! Yes that's correct that you have the newest version - the older versions of the pointed palette knives were a bit clunky and not very flexible to control how "pointy" the tip was, so I switched it to the other side and added speed detection so that the stroke (and point) is small if you're going fast but wide if you're going slowly. You do have the latest version, but for future reference all updates are always free for those who purchased previously ☺️

What was the colour palette that you used for this demo. The one I thought you used is much darker than your design shows.

Hi Joyce! The color palette is called "Monet Sunset" and comes with the brush set. The camera lighting may have affected the colors a bit, and it always appears a bit brighter when filming because of the iPad screen and can depend on the time of day and weather outside while I'm filming, so that may account for the difference if that's the palette you were using.

Is it possible to make this painting seamless in order to print it on fabrics?

Yes you could draw it in the center of a square canvas without touching the edges, duplicate it and turn that off as a backup copy, then make 4 more copies of the layer. Then move each one halfway out on a each of the 4 edges with snapping and magnetics turned on. Merge those 4 back together then fill in the middle with more painting (again not touching the edges).

Thanks so much for your interest! With the updated version of Procreate Pocket it is possible to load the brushes, but will not work to their full capabilities because for pressure sensitivity and tilt, the Apple Pencil is needed.
